Omega Psi Phi fraternity incorporated has been present at Southeastern Louisiana University since 1979. On May 4th, 1979, the Seven Deadly Departed were initiated through the Lambda Alpha chapter located in Baton Rouge, La. From 1979 to 2003 many brothers at Southeastern have entered the fraternity in this manner. Not until after the diligence, hard work, and Perseverance of many Omega men and the Chi Kappa Kappa graduate chapter, was a chapter established at Southeastern. On January 22nd, 2004, the Alpha Delta Epsilon chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity incorporated was chartered with 8 members. On November 9th, 2004, Alpha Delta Epsilon initiated its first line; the 5 Signs of Mayhem. The Alpha Delta Epsilon chapter has been and will continue to be a leading presence in the community on campus and in the fraternity and embrace the brotherhood of its members.
